Might be a .0001% chance though, they use similar AU method as the later boxes.

I know this is the Starview thread guys but if any of you have a Kryptview and dont know about the new firmware available I have uploaded it to my signature which has support for the keyroll change on the 03.04.08, I am unable to test this due to geographical location. this is beta firmware 'Kryptview_04.04.2008'. As far as I know another update will be available for the Kryptview in a couple of weeks to fix the rest of the bugs that are known.
It has been said that a fix for Starview & Eurovox will be here within the next few days.

Sorry to thread spoil here, but I am running out of options. I have a dreambox 500 (I think) which used to auto update. Since nthell done their magic I get the message "service not found" and have lost all my channels. Have searched through a few threads and have not found any mention of the dreambox, anybody here have any solutions on how to manually update the box? Any help greatly appreciated, I used to have a replay lite and found this site the best going in terms of help and advice.

below is the instructions on how to enter the information required manually onto dreambox's.
You need to know your provider & latest access ke*s. I have not tested this myself as I do not have a Dreambox.
Push the yellow button on the remote control.
Select Tuxbox commander
Scroll down to var, then press ok.
Scroll down to ke*s, then press ok
Scroll down to so*tcamke*s. Make sure its highlighted.
Press 4 or whichever option says edit.
Scroll down to the line under encrtyptions (nagra for cable) that is your providers id.
Push ok on the line you require. This will highlight the line.
Use left or right to move along the line.
Use the number keys on the remote to edit the number and alpha's
When done exit out.
Save alterations and exit further out and restart the cam.
This may make your screen clear and go back to normal.

Hey guys!!! Long time blah blah... any opinions... new firmware for them starviews??? do you think they will come up with one or are we back to square one inputting manually.... does anyone know whether they have changed codes today coz i have the box and everyone else i know has clones!!!! and im getting about a million calls (slightly exaggerated!!)

hey ther as far as i know there is no more firmware for the 1st gen boxs im 99.99999999% sure of it like the starview 1 is done with the box and the box super are fine
