as far as i'm aware 4.5 is for the box not starview so depends what machine youve got

Lads download the software called Clonesafe Autoroll onto your starview boxes I did this to two boxes and I havn't had to put codes in manually for 5 days now

Lads,
This is probably going to be a stupid question, but both clocks are wrong on the eurovox,
the left hand clock and the clock beside the station name i.e RTE is wrong.
on some station the left clock is correct but the time beside the station is wrong.
Is this wierd ?
When i set the time correct in the Time Settings GMT the Station program name was out of sync.
Anyone know how to get 2 clocks and program name in sync with each other thanks a lot.

I'd say that guy Googled it for about 10 minutes before he went on ;-) He didn't seem to know the real In's & outs of it did he?
The Gremlins are really on the back foot now, they don't know how to handle the Guru's.....
Imagine them suggesting that people should stop using them on moral grounds?
What about their pricing structure? How moral is that?

What can UPC Ireland do aparently they are cracking down.
aparently they are shutting down a company in finglas and have.
and are going to go after individuals next..
are we saying they can pinpoint each house that has one?

Of course they are.
Let's face it, they quoted on that show today that if you wanted all the available premium channels that it would cost you ?1200 PA.
So they want people to pay that on moral grounds?
Their infrastructure is already in place so it's not costing them anywhere near that figure to supply to people. It's pure extortion & people are fed up of it.
If they could have stopped this (and they could if the really wanted to but the cost is just too high)they would by now.
They're just too god damn greedy to spend the money so they're hoping that people will examine their conscience....... not their bank balance....
The Gurus are so fast at circumventing & reverse engineering every move they make, so it's hard to know for sure if it could ever be stopped or at the very worst, would a new box come out?

Celtic can u help plz...
i have loaded the new firmware (sunrise) for clones on my s/v 1 clone box but some of the channels are frezzing and breaking up (starplus, shopping channels) but other channels r fine(sky). network provider is telepest in liverpool.

Celtic or scouser or anybody just wondering if your around I'm trying to flash a digivox and its not exactly working out now i did two last nite and they flashed no probs. the one tonite i flashed the 2.8000 firmware onto it and its now been updating for nearly 2 hrs. I've checked EMU its on, now i did notice were the codes are 00: line has the codes and the next line which should be 01 is all f's (ff: ff ff ff ff ff ff etc)
any ideas i know this is the starview thread but i can,t find any anwsers on digivox thanks

Hi anto. don't know about the digibox but if it works anything like the Starview and it has a default key, pressing that should clear it, but on the Starview also you can manually enter over the FFs ffs even in a key Number field such as 0F showing rather than 00 etc. I have come across it several times on Starview - think they are watching the match - anywat hope it helps.

thanks malci i actually got it going i left it on and eventually the updating code page came up it was still very slow so i knocked it of and put it back on and it was in within a minute thanks for help i thought at first i had a bad flash and reflashed it, I was just about to try 2.6000 0n it but it came through at last.
