Hi can anyone help,iam trying to download new firmware for a digivox xl.the problem is when i try to open the file it just keeps repeating the previous request,ive also notice the type of file is called a bin file is this the problem.thx geoff

Hi ive just bought a digivox box got it set up ok but was wondering is there away to get the box office films/ pay per view items on it?

u should get ppv or tvnumber check to see,and u will not get pay per view items as these boxes do not talk back.

cheers for that as stated ive just bought it and not realy clued up on it yet.. what problems if any should i expect from running this box? i see ppl talking about software versions!!! how do i tell which mines is? also for running in scotland ( v**in m**ia ) what is the best version to use ?

simple as there are only 2 digivox for cable,1 silver box ,and 1 all black box called xl u need to use the relevent files for each box.
if u have got the xl box the firmware should be v.1220,check this by
menu-system info vers.???

yip its the all black box xl it has that version in it. again is there any problems i should expect whilst using this box?

all makes and models of boxes will start getting a few problems in uk/irl as channels move again as some are deleted and new ones added.
a factory reset and autoscan will fix this problem.

Can anyone confirm if the tutorials at the very start of this thread apply to the Digivox -T ?
I believe the correct version to flash for this box is digivox_ter_v3200.
If this tutorial does not apply any idea where i can get some further information for this box, particularly flashing instructions ?

if you go into the menu you will see the option for facrory settings if you do that it should go back to factory. do you know how to set the rest of it up after you have done this?

sorry if this has been discussed before i am a complete novice. i have every channel bar channel 5, turner movies and the new channel that just started.

we all start somwhere mate. whats the new channel? i had to do a reboot on mine today but havent noticed if i had any new channels or not

Hi there cactikid you may be able to help me. I also have the 2007 mpdel digivox and I've updated the firmware to v4000. I've switched the EMU to on but it is hanging at 0% on the "data being updated" message. I have performed a full scan and it has found all channels. Have I left anything out?

Hi mate,
Thanks for the quick response. I've tried a few other channels and powered the box off and on again but nothings happening. It's just sitting at 0%. Anything else I might have done wrong?

it should work as it happens a few times,it is plugged into main coaxial feed no splitter yes? try this menu-system info -ok1004 -set default key-exit out all the way it should start updating.

Do you know anything about the new security notice that appears under one of the channels i. e. JJ* Sports TV or Security Fraud Mess
Freq....339.000mhz
Symbol rate....6887
Constellation....64 Qam
Is it legit from NT* or a hoax, do you know???? I'm from up North not dowm South. Is boxes detectable by NT*
Wearing my brown trousers over this.....lol
