How long does it take to burn a game? 8 hrs and still going here!!!

Hi guys, I don't think this is normal so I wanted to check with you guys. How long is it supposed to take to burn a DVD+R DL Verbatim disk using Xbox Backup Creator 2.3 with a Pioneer 111d (1.29firmware) hooked up in a external enclosure using USB 2.0? It's been over 9 hours now and only at 35%

it normally takes me about a half hour for full back up sometimes less then that

mine usually takes around 40mins to complete at 2.4x
i think there's definately something wrong if your still going after 9hrs!
Currently on my 7th PS3 and 4th Xbox, gotta love technology.. |

What could possibly go wrong? What I am doing wrong and what do I need to do to get it burning at a good speed? I've already checked my DMA settings and I even tried to burn other things besides my 360 games. I burn movies without any problems whatsoever, it's just the games that are doing this! Please help.

Try using IMGburn instead, has always worked for me.

I"ve already tried using imgburn, and it gives me an error I/O. What else can I try?

An error? Maybe you could try re-ripping the game with no other programs running, that always helps.

yeah something is definitely wrong with that
and Xan21, you may want to edit you sig before a mod tells you to, file sizes are too big. plus its more pixels high than it can be too.

yea i only burn at 2.0-2.4 and have yet to have a coaster usually takes about 45 minutes :)

Here we go again with wanna-be mods trying to tell people about their sig...Anyways, it should take you about 45mins total if using Imgburn @ 2.4x burn speed. Nothing should ever take 8 hours to burn. When using most burning software while burning a game at 2.4X it should take 30-40 mins average.
