hello, just bought a dbox from germany, did a scan and found lots of locked channels, anyone help? ive tried connecting to the dawn thing but got nowhere.........

ive tried inputting the ip's and so on, i think i was connected via a cross over cable, but it might of been a ethernet cable to a laptop im a complete novice mate.

Well if we flash the wrong one on the bow will lock up
Push blue button on your remote wot does it say in that colum
Also push D box
Service
Service scan
And tell me wot it says in that colum from top to bottom....Paul

Scan for all services
Bow k leave existing
Cable provider=6952 for ex tellw8st 6887 for ex NTh*ll
Fast scan on
Save settings red button
And scan Blue button
Enter these in when finished leave it on Ski sports 1 to up date for 5 mins
Lets know how that goes ..............Paul

Were it says cable bruteforce push ok and it should change to
6887 If not you will have to flash it ...........Paul

Connect your crossover cable from your laptop to the D box
Run ifa
Select image commando 6
Selact network device you are flashing with
No null mowdem tick
Push ok
YOUR BOX MUST BE SWITCHED OFF AT THE WALL AT THIS POINT
wARNING YOU ARE ABOUT TO FLASH
Push ok and turn your box on at the wall
It should say flashing in the LCD
If it dont with in 10 secs
Switch D box off at the wall and back on untill itsays flashing
No need to touch pc
When it says flashing Done Close down ifa on pc unplug Network cable
And re boot yor box
Lets know how you get on .................paul
PS all firewalls must be off
