Question on XBL Halo Disk

Alright I have a few questions. I have no idea if anyones tried this, but I'll ask it.

Can I get on to XBL this way:

1: Modded Maps
2: Made a correct iso cd of Halo 2
3: Play on Xbox 360 online

First of all my original xbox is modded. The 360 is not modded. The 360 has the XBL on it.

Any help with this one?

unless your 360 has the firmware flashed on the dvd drive, nope. even if it does modded maps are going to get you banned from matchmaking. and if you decide to flash your xbox 360 unless you have a samsung drive, your kinda SOL because they are banning unless you have ixtreme

Okay first I was only gonna play in Custom Games and second I'd like to know the reason for flashing my 360 to make it work. Plus what does flashing my 360 do to it.

it mods the firmware to play burned games and you have to do it to play a burned copy of halo, and even if you use them for custom games, you will get banned from matchmaking.
