Everytime I click on a folder it brings up Search instead what im trying to look at. Anyone know how to make it go back to normal?

If you have Windows XP, then this article(Search Companion Starts If you Double-Click a Folder)from Microsoft should be the answer:

I have not done this, just found it on a Google.
