just recently tried out the elecard mpeg2 video decoder from www.elecard.com and in zoom player, i got pure crappy video decoded!! it looked super smooth and fine but slow when compared with powerdvd or windvd !! has anyone tried out the mpeg2 player by elecard?? is it any good ??

if you want to know my oppinion, i 'm using it for a long time and it suits me completely.
And as to your problem, it's hard to say why it is in such a way.....need more details on what version of Elecard Decoder you use, what is the version of demultiplexer, your system requirements.

I tried out the evaluation program and found it impressive on all OS platforms. So I oredered it. Moonlight sent me an email with the program as an attachment and how to download it from their site. The attachment is only a fraction of the size of the program and so does not work AND their instructions to download does not work. They are ignoring my emails to them. Any suggestions?
The situation you described sounds very strange for me.
As, actually, these gyes answered all the letters I sent them. There were no problems at all.
Maybe, the deliveries of your e-mails failed on some reasons or smth else (like some spam filters on your box could cause it) :((
Anyway, try to write them again on the following:
tsup@moonlight.com.ru
or any other address you can find on their site.

Yes, I find it strange that they are ignoring my emails which are addressed to tsup@moonlight.com.ru.
But I discovered the problem with doanloading:
It appears that my firewall is causing the HTTP_REFERER information not to be send to their server. The solution is to turn off my firewall! I don't think so. I have it for a good reason and suspect anyone who asks me to make an exception.

Now everything is clear. Somewhere you are right, when talking about making exceptions. But at the same time, i'm sure they can offer you the other alternative of downloading your software ;))
