Not a problem the ps3 doesn?t play backups any way and all my sons games have been backed up and his ps2 is chipped still uses the ps2 downstairs i'm happy saved £150 since they launched the ps3 in April Ho Ho Ho merry Christmas
I subsidised a company that bought a system out with only 2 good games then decided not to release any more until just before it lowered the price (apart from Oblivion which I cant play now cos of a stupid bug!). Yes I bought the console because I couldn?t wait but Sony didn?t reward me by showering me with great titles. GTA was promised and never came Pro Evo is rubbish only now is PS3 waking up. I saved hard for my PS3 and bought on the strength of there reputation and hype which on this occasion let me down. PS2 launch was so much stronger but PS3 didn?t match it.
I'm not pissed at all, I would not want one of the new systems. I got a 20 gig on launch day for cost (had 2 Wiis preorders, traded one and the balance in cash for it outside of Toys r Us launch morning). I don't play a ton of PS2 games on it, most of mine are backups, but the ones that aren't, its nice to know I can. Hard drive size I don't care about, its been replaced, I have four USB ports. Oh no, I may be missing a card reader, but thats why I have a computer. I also didn't need wireless for the online because the cable modem/router are right behind the tv anyway. Anyhow, I don't care about the price, if you want somehting thats new, you pay for it. Technology only gets cheaper, and if you don't know that going in, don't buy new technology.
