Hi, i have a chipped ps2 slim and i want to:

Boot from memory card or USB HDD and play games from USB HDD (winning eleven 10 does not work with usb advance)

what do i have:

Matrix Infinity Chip
External USB HDD Drive (with a 40 gb HDD)
Sony Memory Card
A lot of CD-RW and DVD-RW
A Computer :P

What i've done so far:

Booted USBAdvance from memory card and played games from usb-hdd, but not all the games are supported (at least none of the games that i want to play)

I was trying booting with DVDLoader and changing the MSYSTEM.CNF to:

\DRAGON BALL Z BUDOKAI 3\cdrom0:\SLES_532.00;1
\WINNING ELEVEN 10\mass:\SLPM_663.74;1
\MENU 3\cdrom0:\PS2LOAD.ELF;1
\MENU 4\cdrom0:\PS2LOAD.ELF;1
\MENU 5\cdrom0:\PS2LOAD.ELF;1
\MENU 6\cdrom0:\PS2LOAD.ELF;1
\MENU 7\cdrom0:\PS2LOAD.ELF;1
\MENU 8\cdrom0:\PS2LOAD.ELF;1
\MENU 9\cdrom0:\PS2LOAD.ELF;1
\MENU 10\cdrom0:\PS2LOAD.ELF;1

I copied all the files from WE10 DVD to the Hard Disk but it does not boot.

What should i do

Try copying all the files from GRAN-TURISMO-4 DVD to Hard Disk (this games work with USBAdvance)

PS: I need to do this WITHOUT changing disks

frankly USB hard drive are almost worthless. They do not have good game compatibility, and they run slow with the USB ports of the PSTwo (because they ar not 2.0)

What version is your PS2? If it is a V12 or V13 then you can get an HD Combo case and install an internal hard drive. Better compatibility and faster loading times.
