hi. just a little question. Does anyone know if you delete the update file from the iso will it still play without asking for update

Well I think there are a few games that allow you to do this, but just deleting the update folder won't stop it. You have to strip out a few files, but doing this could cause the game to either not load, or not work properly. You have to extract the PARAM.SFO file in umdgen to be able to modify it so you can play it on an older fw. But some games may not work properly after this.
