The format for this is AT3, so to get there you need goldwave (www.goldwave.com).

download a atrac3 codec off google then install it. Put all the codec files in the goldwave directory.

Open up goldwave then load your music file on it. Now, shorten up the audio length to around 55 seconds (more or less, just has to be under 500kb in size).

Save this file as a Wave file, now set attributes to Atrac3 66khz.

Now open up any folder then go to tools --> folder options --> view. Make sure the "hide extensions for known file types" is unchecked.

Now go to your wave file and rename it to SND0.AT3

You should now be able to save it on to your eboot!
(I use PSX2PSP to save it, you can use whatever pbp unpacker you want)

nice... i may need that. However does it work if i convert the at3 back to a Wave file?

it should look like nameofsong.wav

you change it to SND0.AT3 for it to work because the PBP unpacker programs won't pickup wave files

yeah I know about the PBP thing. I was just thinking to get the songs from my ISO since the music file is AT3

in that case, no need to convert to wave, unless its over 500kb in size and you have to adjust the length.

Just rename the one in your iso and it should work.
