Is there anyway someone can upload the wii net channel onto rapid share or something.
I just bought my Wii on the 10/7 so i missed the free net client by just over a week.

maybe not nintendo rumors sugest that star-points (witch you get at the nintendo website via regeneration of the nintendo produckts) will be abel to tranfure to wii points in the near future. you can already link the shop channel with the nintendo server

Nintendo change their privacy policy on 15th July in Europe. This might well be the day when stars can be traded for Wii points. I am in the same boat as Tsey2k7 and now I'm waiting for this stars-->wii points.

Are you shitting me? The Internet channel isn't free anymore?!?! What about weather, news, and everybodyvotes? They were all free in May when I bought mine also...

The Weather & News Channels are installed by default (free). The Everybody Votes Channel is downloadable from the WiiShop Channel for free (I hear it will always be free). The Internet Channel was available as a free download until a certain date (I forget when it stopped being free) but now it does cost WiiPoints to download.

How many points? Just curious, I already had it for free from a while back. Whatever it costs, it's worth it just by the simple fact that you can watch google and youtube movies on it...!

two things:
1. if i end up dishing out the money for this feature, is there a way that i could lost it? (ex: if i remove the lithium battery with it unplugged?) i'm just trying to plan if i have to end up cracking this thing open again, i dont want to lose something that i'm going to pay for.
2. for those of you who have it (paid or free), is it worth buying? 500pts is about $5 i'm guessing. (yes/no ?)
