Black mark when playing back Antitrust DVD

Hi,I have a region 4 legal copy of antitrust, the problem is when I play it back near the beginning I get this black mark that I don't think was there before not exactly in the centre of the screen but I find it really annoying and its only near the beginning of the film I was wondering could it be way the copy was made or could it be that I played it back in a dvd rom/burner in my computer that has slighty damaged the disc in some way or form if you could reply to this problem with some feedback it would be greatly appreciated thanks
