Okay Okay im a noob please shot me i have just got the copy of lumies and i downgraded my psp to 1.5 for some stupid reason i upgraded back to 3.03 please dont ask why and now when i try to upgrade to 3.50 it wont let me! damn psp. Is there any chance that i can downgrade to 1.5 without the gta copy

Think your IDstorage key got messed up during downgrade. Just be glad you didn't upgrade back up to 3.11 or something.

Downside is, you HAVE to use unpatched GTA. Kinda hard to find nowadays, but what can you do...

Anyway, buy GTA, and downgrade to 1.50. This time DON'T UPDATE.
Only update to 3.40e-a(custom firmware)
