So I bought a psp that came with 3.51 firmware .
Family Guy BTW) that has an update for 2.71 FW.

Impossible, I'm sorry, but there is not gonna be a 3.51 downgrade for along time, thats what the 1's for, a secrity update.

I have never used the two for ISO's, but I would suggest Devhook, everyone says it's good.

Well, the idea I got was, well this'll sound reall stupid, k?
psp into thinkingit had lower firmware than 2.7, and instead of updating it, it downgrades it.

lmfao, trick your psp ?? i dont think so bro. thats how you will brick your psp. if anything brick it on purpose and take it back or buy a new one and take that one back in its place.
