That's because people were afraid and knew that nobody would go to there firmware because DAX was there. They knew that they would just get flamed and told that they were no comparison to OE.

glenquag's right and now what's happening is like a firmware battle of the bands lmfao. btw, it's been a few weeks since sony has released a new firmware, think they're scared of doing it lol.

or maybe they are just getting all of the flaws out of 3.60 so they can released the psp slim and no one will be able to downgrade it

PSP slim is kinda pissing me off with all that extra ram n stuff...guess i might have to get a slim, but i do wonder about downgraders.
and marlino23 i did hear you the first time when u said i was just kidding.(I was just stating, that i got confused on the post before that) Just got lost when u said 10min later...update 8...
Also that unofficial site that was posted, was not the site i been to...im going to look for the other site...

i like that site a lot better than the other one i posted, and wouldnt extra ram be good for the psp slim?we'll see, im definitly getting one

What i was trying to say was that the new PSP Slim has extra ram (faster game loading n stuff) Also can play the PSP on the TV screen and that pisses me off, that i will probably have to buy one, and then having to wait for downgraders and such.

try again, it worked for me too. you gotta be careful. dun stay in the cheat menu too long, it's retarted at times, it freezez if u stay too long.

Hello, Im no noob, ive been in the scene for awhile, I'm in the Guard and I was deployed for over a year to Iraq so i've been out of the scene for a bit and I used to mod PSPs before I went out there, but now I'm trying to downgrade a friends PSP who has 2.70 firmware, and then upgrade it to a new custom OE firmware, is there any way this is possible, I've been searching the forums with no luck, can someone help?

is it a ta-082 or is it 079? u have to upgrade to 2.71 and if u have a ta-082 u have to downgrade with a patch and if it is a 079 then u can use the generic downgrader

yo mikey, open the umd latch and check to see whcih mobo u have, like foxrider stated, if there is gold writing at the top right then you have a ta-082 if theres nothing there than you got a ta-079. and fox is right, make sure you double check what mobo u get cuz some people r dum enought to try the wrong type of downgrader on their mobos.

how do i run it..??
do i put the eboot into the GAME150 folder and run it?

put the folder that contains the eboot in the game150 folder then launch it... its in the readme
