my bro updated my firware to 3.51!!!!! Is there any chance to downgrade 3.51 and run isos on my psp?

3.51 should have an ISO loader built in!!!!!
check the forum sony psp mod and firmware
coz before he retired DAX was decoding it!
cant remember wht its called but its in there!

The iso loader either isn't included in m33 or just doesn't work well. Because you still need an umd to run iso in 3.51 m33.
You know, why am I keep getting this feeling that the sony "iso loader" is just a copy of DAX's no-umd function...
#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe

M33 has a working NO-UMD mode, it works perfectly...

Well, I think I'll just stick to 3.40OE unless I absolutely must upgrade or something-Sounds like there are a lot of bugs that need to be worked out with that new custom joint...I am not impressed.
And whats the big push to try and get it so you dont need a UMD inserted?? I mean how hard is it to just put a game in the slot and leave it there? I have yet to run into an iso game that requires me to leave the UMD out or that I need to enable "noUMD"...My "noUMD" is disabled, and I have a game inserted-Period..My games work fine...

That's my only problem. One of my games REQUIRES no-umd to be enabled(DJ Max Portable 2). And I play it very often. Whenever I want to play something else, I have to toggle no-umd. It's no big deal, just a little bit troublesome.
P.S. The main reason that I'm reluctant in upgrading is also because of this damn game. Last time I messed up and had to recover back to 1.5, this game won't recognize my saves anymore. Says it's from another psp.....

Thats odd...I wonder how that game could have gotten locked into your old configuration like that? And wont let you load saves now...Very strange...Is that DJ Max game like DDR or something?

Dj max is kinda like ddr, it's much more like beatmania, guitar hero, that kinda thing. Has a pretty steep learning slope, but once you are there, man, you can't give it up :D
Anyway, it loads saves fine. But it has a wierd system that won't let you use any save file that's from other psp's (so you can't use a friends save files to unlock music or whatnot, it's also linked to an internet ranking system). So I think recovering back to 1.5 somehow changed my psp's internal settings. So the game thinks that I'm on a new psp D:
I'm pretty far into the game now, 80%+ unlocked. I don't wanna risk losing everything again.

I wonder if restoring your default settings from 3.40 would work? But I suppose you dont want to risk having to start over again...That sucks..I might have to look into that game, sounds addicting!!

I whole heartedly recommand you give it a try. You can check out youtube for some footage. But don't let what you see scare you off, those guys are pretty crazy.

guys..juz wonderin..i upgraded my nephew's PSP,..from v2.81-to-new sony supported v3.51...i download it from the playstation.com
my question is:...is there any chance i can downgrade or upgrade to higher than 3.51/or M33 3.51...or i can play ISO with any downloadable ISO loader app for my neph's PSP...pls anyone help me out wit..or my brother(my nephew's father) wil make me pay or kill me instead...ehehe..plss,help me..s there any solution 4 this?..thnx

and,..is it posible to downgrade a PSP after it was upgraded/updated?
cuz,my PSP was v2.81...i upgraded it to v3.51..can it be dowgrade again into somethin..or juz,i keep on upgrading??and also..

no. once u go to 3.51 ur screwed. theres not likely gonna be a downgrader for anything over 3.50, cuz that involves finding an entirely new exploit (the last 2 downgraders were branches from previous exploits, so we never needed a new discovery). so unless u get a modchip, u r screwed.
