Devhook .46 and .52 help

I have 2 PSPs, one is a 1.5, and the other is a 2.71 ta-82.
My question is if Devhook .52 or .46 will work on either one of them without downgrading or upgrading them.
If I need upgrading, please tell me to which version I need to upgrade and the place where to get the firmware and devhook, please.

forget about devhook, on you 1.5 psp upgrade to custom firmware, and in the 2.71 downgrade to 1.5 and then upgrade to custom firmware as well. Trust me, its less of a hassle to run ISOs.
