HEY GUYS ONLY NEW TO THIS HOPE THERE IS SOME ONEWHO CAN FILL ME IN I
GOT A STAR VIEW BOX I AM CURRENTLY ON CHORUS NTL IN CO LOUTH IRELAND GOT THE BOX WASNT WORKING SOURCED THE NET DOWNLOADED PROGRAMS TO GET IT WORKING IN IRELAND NOW ALL THE BOX SAYS IS THE BOX AND THIS IS FROZEN ON SCREE[img][img][img][/img][/img][/img]N. PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP THANKS./ ITS A STAR VIEW TELE BOX

Can you confirm that you have a "Starv**w" or " The B0X" .. Did you get a cable supplied with it ?

Can you drop the CAPS as it is against forum rules .

yeah a 9 slot female cable came with it. the box says starview on it

There are 2 types of these , clones and genuines , count the slots on top , clone has 18 x 7 vents and genuine has 25 x 7 vents

You are always best opening it up mate for the best result. We have pictures over at http://techno-source.co.uk , be worth while checking them out and comparing your box with them. They are located in the starview section.

dont think starview works on chorus in ireland only works on ntl im afraid

Look at the front of it and on the left hand side does it say "Starv**w" or "the b0x" .. And yes they work with Cho**s

Starview 2 or the box is a dvb-c receiver and only chorus cable is working.
Chorus mmds is using dvb-t and is not supported.
