Need help UPdating my 2.60 PSP .!

Well...currently i have a 2.60 FW psp..i want to Update it to 3.50...so i download the FW from QJ.net.. But when i put it in teh PSP it appears as a corrupted file... what can i do?

first of all are you sure you wanna update to official sony f.w? are you aware of hombrew and iso's? but if so did you follow the readme?

what read me file? I mean the FW appears corrupted... well i want to upgrade to a 3.50 which i can Downgrade it back to 1.5 using lumines or other method :P what can i do?

If you dont know how to upgrade to 3.5, I advise you to not try and downgrade to 1.5 :|

go to 2.71. its easier to downgrade.
and, to make the update work, rename the update to EBOOT
