My PSP won' turn on! Ive tried everything!

Hey I was playing Thrasher Sk8 PS1 on my psp last night and then it just truned off! Now when i try to turn it on, the power light just flickers on and nothing happens!
Battery was fully charged, and nothin happens still when i hook up to chager with or without battery in! I was able to get it working briedy for a minute or so then it died again. I havent even had it for a week. I bought it used from some guy so i dont know how old it is and i have no warranty! Any thoughts? Please help me!

maybe the battery is out of life, go buy a new one.

yeah i dont know what is happening, now it seems to be working fine. i thought for sure it was as good as a realy expensive paper weight.
