I just bought a new PSP with a new motherboard. Then update to firmware v3.50.
Is there any chance to brick the PSP if i'm downgrading?
Do I have to do anything before downgrading by following the instruction in the 3.50downgrader?
Any special note?

yes there is a chance of bricking, but u have the same chance of bricking with a real sony update as downgrading. nothing special to do.

So I just follow the instruction in the 3.50downgrader.
After I downgrade to v1.50 then install custom firmware 3.40 oe-a, Can I still go back to v1.50 and how?

yes that is correct.
u can recover back to 1.50 at any point. heres the recovery file
http://www.sendspace.com/file/kidgxi
to use this, put it in /PSP/GAME. then run it from the recovery mode.
to get into recovery mode, turn the psp all the way off, not just sleep, and turn it back on HOLDING R. then go to run program at /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP

How do I update the custom firmware?
ex: if I have 3.10 eo-a, how i update to 3.40 eo-a?

It's almost the same as the OE's. Since Dark_alex stoped his OE development, the russian team picked up where he left off. 3.51 m33 allows you to run games require firmware up to 3.51.
#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe
Whatever happens, happens...

hello everyone i haven't been on for awhile now to long prob. lol. my quest. is can you downgrade 3.50 fw and if so is that the most recent fw version from sony??i have been waiting for awhile for a downgrade any help would be great thnx

anyway to correct myself i just checked upgrades from sony and it says 3.51fw is most recent to answer my own quest. so i guess i have another question then i have 3.40 fw i want to downgrade the fw then re-install with custom fwlike 3.40-oe-a can i do this and if so where might i find the files i need to do thisi have downgrade my psp before but like a dumb dumb i upgrade back to higher official fw. if anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate the help thank you

Yes. There is hope for your psp still.
First, you will need Luminus the game. The actual umd.
Upgrade to 3.50 (DO NOT use network update, it'll give you 3.51, then it's over for you), use Noobz 3.50 downgrader to get to 1.5
From 1.5 you can upgrade to 3.40oe or 3.51 m33, both are custom firmwares that let's you do everything that you hear psp can do.
#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe

i am on the link site now and it won't let me download it i click where it says download on the orange download icon and nothing happens. please excuse me it has been awhile since i have been on the computer i hope i am just doing sumthin wrong
