the old splinter cell modding method? i mean, if you have an XSATA thing to connect to you're 360 hdd and know where to put the softmodding save file, could this be done?

No. You'll just lock up the emulator. Reminder it's not actual Xbox hardware and software, but an emulator that runs Xbox games.

search much? i remember when 360s came out everyone thought you could do this and would be all happy dandy. even if you could, it wouldnt do anything. your not booting from the hard drive. you boot from the hardware inside the 360s now.
