Harry Potter OOTP Not Working w/ WiiKey

I have not updated my Wii, so it is still on FW 2.0E. I used the Update blocker to block the update on the game, so do I need to update to my Wii in order to play this game?

Also my original was a little scratched up when I made a backup, would this also play a role in it not working?

Do you know what the Stock Wii FW is? Also I did not update the Papaer Mario, but it works fine.
