XBOX 360 update from DVD GAME, can I apply it on a modded XBOX?

I have a modded XBOX 360 and I have gone on XBL very few times. I'm not banned. But when I put this game that was recently released it says you must apply this update to play this game. Can I apply it or will it ban my xbox from xbox live?

It's fine to update the game on a modded console.

I also have a modded x360. I have forza 2 (gst)rip

its asking for me to update before I can play the game...is this fine to go ahead with?

yup nice one ...i went ahead not soon after posting and it was working fine, untill 20 minutes into it, it froze.

since then its been fine, just wondering why it froze?

Have you read some of the other threads about people having problems with Forza 2 and their 360's freezing? It's been a big deal.

I haven't had any problems with Forza 2, but I don't know

Anyways sometimes some games do freeze, but to me it only happened 3 or 4 times in 6 months
