yes, im getting one. looks alright, and i need one with a decent analog nub, the ones now suck. bideo out looks alright, but they shoulda put the port on the bottom, so the psp looks like a controller and the console in one.

I'm also expecting another price drop for the current version, but Sony mentioned that, by the time the new model comes out, the current version would then be depleted by that time. And they're pretty confident about that, too.
Anyway, might as well get the new version when it comes out; it would be nice to keep up with the official firmware. =)

it launches in september but im getting the slim in november for black friday...maybe with a 4 gig memstick
eah i know..but just want a psp for original firmwar..i got one for hw....so im good...i bet after the old psp are gone their going to sell for hundreds on ebay even the more the ones with CFW
