lets set the scene...i want halo 2 on my hard drive w/out buying biggder hard drive. i have to install and of course...theres always problem....my e: drive isnt big enough because of the map pack. but their is enough overall memory on the xbox. i have the 10 gb xbox and my f: drive isnt being used for anything. (yet). is it possible to squeeze the f: drives memory into the e: drive. (conjoin them to make it a bigger e:)...i wouldnt think so but, hell, i need a solution. i also thought about moving the map pack and all my game saves,...but where would i put them? it'd be nice if i could put them on my f: drive but how?.....1 more thought....is it somehow possible to take some of the origial maps off halo when i put it on my xbox or maybe even some off the map pack. just to save some room. it would be awesome if i could somehow put the maps on the f: instead of the e: so i could put it on my xbox......any help is appreciated..

Why do you want to put the game on your hdd so bad. I noticed when your hdd gets close to full, less than 100 mb remaining, things start to run like crap. A new drive isn't much, just invest in more space.

I have a 40gb harddrive sitting around here somewhere, and you probably have another harddrive sitting around your house. Just format it, it doesn't take too long, and Afterdawn has guides for how to do it.
