i finnaly broke down and bought a psp camera from hong kong. i downloaded go edit from europe and it requires 3.40. i know the simple solution would be go to 3.40 oe-a but i like 3.03 oe-c and want to stay running on it since that is what i have all of my psp editing stuff for. and i find 3.03 oe-c to be the best custom firmware. well i guess that's it, if you know a way t odo this or even if you want to tell me that its impossible (if you are sure that it is) would be appreciated. thank you

I thought chotto shot that came with your camera doesn't require that high of firmware. It's in Japanese though.

the camera will work on anything that is 3.00 or higher. the UMD that comes with the camera is in japanese, so i'm not sure that i will be able to navigate through it so i downloaded the europe version in ISO-like form. when i try to start it it says you are running on 3.03 firmware and you need atleast 3.40 or higher.

so far what i can only guess at is that i can use the japanese UMD with 303oe-c but i cannot run the english version off of my memory stick.

anyone else got a clue?

Go-cam and chotto shot are the only 2 software for the camera. I did a quick search on google and didn't find any homebrew for that. So I guess you are outta luck.
