How to change GC disc without turn off WII?

Is there a way to change to either a different Gamecube game or a Wii game without turning off Wii? I have a multi gamecube game. But when I want to play a different game, I can't quit out to the Wii menu. I have to turn off the Wii, reboot it and load a new game.

no for the gamecube since u have in essence booted up the rom of the gamecube hence the wiimotes arent recognised

u answered the wii bit urself - ie press the home button
