Apologies if this has been answered already but i havent been able to find a solution on here.

I have loaded the first discs of both Final Fantasy 7 and 8 onto my psp and they are both perfectly playable

however i have noticed that the music (and possibly the gameplay) seems slightly accelerated i dont know why.

I have also noticed the speed is normal during FMVs

Does anybody know how to make the music run at the correct speed???

Thanks!!

Please dont use computer language too much because i dont get it.. yeah?

Also just to add to that im playing it now and certain moves seem to be making it crash! But not all the time.

So far Quistis's laser eye has made it crash twice now it works fine - and also the magic spell scan made it crash once! Craxy!

What program did you use to convert the files into an EBOOT file? I recommend using PopstationGUI. I have FFVIII and FFIX, and so far I'm not having any problems at all(Disc1 on FFVIII and Disc2 on FFIX).

I have an american PSP and both those games are PAL not NTSC

( I live in england but bought my psp from the USA)

That wouldnt cause the problem would it?

That could be the problem. Try downloading the NTSC version of the game.

Hm yess

Adter i posted last night i solved my own problem with regards to the speed - i found a patch to convert my ISO files to NTSC and then i reconverted them to the EBOOT files and that has solved the speed issue.

HOWEVER Final Fantasy 8 still keeps freezing at certain points in battle and sometimes the psp just turns itself off after being frozen for a few seconds.

Ive no idea why this could be. I took the ISO from a disc i already own and the disc is fine.
