Yes, mines does the same. I tried zonelader and even tried a rebuild, but it still freezes a little in between plays and when I try to select a play it freezes for about 3-4 secs. using verbatim 8x dvd-r, and other games work. Maybe it is an ea sports thing!!!
(although rugby 08 works perfectly) go figure!!!

any help would definitely be appreciated

yes my rugby 08 works perfectly also:))))). strange thing is that my first copy would frezze and stop:(((( now after burning 3 or 4 times and also rebuilding it i got it working.
