i recently downloaded some games for example, transformers, shrek and harvest moon. however, when it was unpacked from its rar file, what it produced was a PSP_Game file and a UMD_DATA file.

i have no idea where do i put these files or how to get the main ISO. please assist and advice. thanks in advance.

First check to make sure that you dont have "ISO" associated with winrar, to do this-open winrar>go to options>then settings>click the Integration (or File Integration) tab> uncheck "ISO"> click OK> Done...You should now be able to extract the ISO directly from the archive, and then transfer it to your PSP...If for some reason that does not work..You will need a program called UMDgen to create the iso from those two file folders...

Also,those games you have may require a higher firmware that what you are currently running (ex: Transformers, Shrek) I believe they need 3.40 as they are fairly new releases..In which case you would want to consider upgrading your firmware to 3.40OE-A

yes basically the ISO problem has been solved... will need help in upgrading to 3.40OE-A.
