custom firmware upgrading problem

whenever i try to upgrade to a custom firmware it always says there is a error. and when i drag the stuff to GAME150 it doesnt show up it only shows up under GAME. i have the official firmware 3.03. can some1 plz help!

u must downgrade ur psp using the 3.03 downgrader, and u must have gta lcs unpatched version, u can tell by checking if the UMD update says 2.00 and when u downgraded u can then updrade to any custom firmware. have fun. if u dont have gta lcs i can lend u mine, just ask

Ok, Not an expert but please give me some details and I'll see if I can help.
What downgrader are you trying to use. GTA or Lumines?
You will not see a GAME150 untill you have successfully upgraded to custom firmware.
Which guide are you using?

u have to downgrade ur psp to 1.5 using the 3.03 downgrader and u will need gta lcs unpatched version, u can check if it is unpatched if it says 2.00 on the UMD update and after u downgraded u can now upgrade to any custom firmware, enjoy and if u want need a unpatched gta lcs game just ask and i will lend u it. have fun!
