Please could someone help me iam new to backing up dvds ive tried backing up my dvds but near the end of the film the film starts to pause then starts again then pauses again this has happened a couple of times i use dvd decrypter then dvd2one then nero 5 or could it be the dics`s i use (orange bulpak)thanks in advance.

It's most likely your discs. You could get better ones, or shrink your movies a little more so you are not burning all the way to the end of the disc.

dvd shrink = free software, usually are links on this site to it.

This certainly sounds like a DVD media type problem.

Don't use cheap brands. Use brands such as Ritek or Verbatim.

are you using PRINCO type media? if so, no wonder. Try using DVDPRO cost a little more, but very good media. Go for the Verbatim if you can afford it, if not go for DVDPRO. I've been using this since 2002 and has no problem since. Good luck!
