Guide/Tutorial: Going to M33

For those of you who do not want to use my easy installer, here's a little, quick and simple guide on going to M33 the manual way.
FIRST: Download M33 here.
SECOND: Download the 1.50 update here, and rename it to 150.PBP (if you unzipped it with WinRAR, you need to put the ".PBP", but if you're doing it with Windows, you don't have to put ".PBP")
THIRD: Download the 3.51 update here, and rename it to 351.PBP.
FOURTH: If you're running 1.50, you have to run the kxploitpatcher app first. (Copy and paste kxploitpatcher% and kxploitpatcher folders to the GAME folder of your PSP). If you're on SE/OE, you do not need to run the patcher.
FITH: Copy 'n paste the "M33CREATOR" folder to the GAME/GAME150
folder of your PSP. Then, go inside the M33CREATOR folder, and drag 'n drop 150.PBP and 351.PBP in that folder.
SIXTH: Run "M33 UPDATECREATOR" from the Game section of your PSP. Then wait a few minutes, then press X to exit when done. There then should be a "3.51 M33UPDATER" game automatticaly on your memory stick. Run that.
SEVENTH: Press X to start flashing, R if you're a sissy, and afraid of bricking you're PSP. Press X when finished.
EIGHTH: Congratulations! ;) You are now running M33!
NINTH: Install this after you get on M33.

nice tut...
maybe mention that the update maker can take 45 minutes sometimes?
(+[__]%) put this psp in ur siggy. just do it.

i have a quick question, i downloaded all the files, and went to update it did the part where it finds 1.5 and says OK then installs 1.5 but when it gets to the 3.51 part it says somthing about the psar size dosnt match press X to exit....
any ideas--i tried downloading the 3.51 eboot from differnt sources can anyone help me??

maybe theres not enough memory stick space. try deleting a few things or get a larger capacity one.
(+[__]%) put this psp in ur siggy. just do it.

well i freed up over a gig and got the same message pretty much this
loading 1.50 firmware......OK
writing 1.50 firmware......OK
loading 3.51 firmware......psar size dosnt match
press X to Exit
any more ideas???

did u run the kxploit patcher if ur on 1.5? no idea wat ur prob is...
just download all of it again from qj
(+[__]%) put this psp in ur siggy. just do it.

Alright, thanks...i'll give that a try...im on 3.40 OE-A.....im putting it all in the Game150 folder. but i'll give that link a try and report back!!

hey. when i was on m33 i installed the ultimate black 3.40 oe-a theme to it. but when i tries accessing battery information and system information the xmb froze. Is this bug fixed now in the m33-6 update?

Great Tutorial!
OK, got a question:
Everybody is saying that I need gta 2.0 for the downgrade... But in your tutorial, it does not say anything about the gta 2.0?

I just downgraded my PSP to 1.50, now can I just follow the tutorial with or without the kxploitpatcher?

Hi,
Quick question: Once I update to M33, can I use a different memory stick or do I have to use the same one that I used during the upgrade?
How do I do this => NINTH: Install this after you get on M33.
I downloaded it and extracted and got M33-SIX folder and in side I got EBOOT.PBP file. How do I run this file?

you can change mem sticks, drad n drop the M33-SIX folder to the GAME150 folder of yur psp.
