recharging my psp in europe

im going on a trip to europe soon and im not too sure on how to charge my psp.
I know that europe has 220V outlets while north-americans have 110V.

I was wondering if my AC adapter is fit to charge in europe by just attaching a cheap "dollar-store" plug shape changer.
my AC adapter is a Sharp EA-58A, and it says under input: AC100-240V, 50/60Hz, 27-30VA
With those specifications, am i able to just attach my cheap european converter and let the charger do the transforming without my psp blowing up?

Ithought the sony power adapter is universal? Since its AC100-240V it should work. Also check the + and - to see if itsw th same as the PSP uses if you use your sharp adapter on your PSP before in North America n it works then the + n - should be correct. Also PSP would NOT blow up, if the power is not correct the tiny fuse inside the PSP is blown, changing them requires opening it and soldering though.

Ya im using the sharp charger because i lost my sony one, and it does work. I figured it would be ok, just making sure.
