I think you should be fine until it gets to the Formating and creating directories thing, but I could be wrong. Wait for someone to confirm this.

Im not a pro at it, but im 100% sure it should take near that long....
Currently own:
PSP - Softmod
PS2 - Swiftmagic
XBOX - Softmod
WII - Working on it =)

I'm not sure... I don't think it touched your flash yet, but if I'm wrong it will brick. Sorry, I don't know what to tell you.

Well, if it's stuck at "Extracting PRXs", I don't think shutting it off will harm it. If it's at a stage higher than that I'd worry a lot more. What memory stick are you using? And Where did you get it?

yeah im sure its stuck at it. i have a 2g sony memory stick. i got it from ebay. ok ill just hard reset it cause its been like that ever since i started the downgrade

If the Memory Stick is fake, it doesn't work properly, or have the memory capacity it claims to have. It may say you have all the files on your Memory Stick, but the update didn't get copied completely, or at all. Which explains why your PSP is stuck at "Extracting PRXs". So basically the downgrader is trying to read a file that is non-existent, but appears to be there.

Thats good =), Id go and verify that your firmware is 2.71 (needed to downgrade with that package) and make sure your mem card is working

That's a good thing, but never buy Memory Sticks off Ebay. Most of the time they're made in Hong-Kong, and fake.

ok even if my memory stick is fake, ill jus use the 32mb that came with it. but do yall know of any 2.71 downgraders to 1.50 for TA-082?

You can always try formating you Memory Stick, and try it again. If that doesn't work go out and get a new Memory Stick from a retailer.
