Hi, i'm a long time lurker 1st time poster :)

I installed a Wiikey the other week and i wasn't sure that i installed it right. so i closed up and made a copy of the wiikey setup disk on a DVD+R and it dosn't work. it comes up with a question mark saying disk is currupt. I decieded to make a copy of the wiikey setup disk on a DVD-R disk and when i insert that the screen goes black and a message saying an error has accerd and i need to power off the wii and back on again

My question is. how come they both show differen't errors?, is there a sign that i have installed the wiikey correctly??

all help well be appreciated :D:D

Try getting some Verbatim/Tayio Yuden/Maxell DVD-R media.

Download ImgBurn (freeware) and burn at 4x

You could find out what the manufacturing ID# is of the DVDs you do have by using Nero info Tool.

To do this start by placing a blank DVD into your DVD drive.

Now go to Start/All Programs/Nero/Tools/Nero Info Tool

Nero Info Tool will scan your system plus your drive and give you the information it has found.

Now click on the Disc TAB at the top of Nero Info Tool and around halfway down the list it list what the Manufactures ID# is.

Find the Manufacturing ID# on the link below and it will show what grade the media is...
