Hello all,

I was playing a game and I noticed a dead pixel on my PSP screen. It wasn't dust or anything like that. Upon closer inspection, using a magnifying glass, it looked like a burned out twisted streak or something. It only appears on dark backgrounds. My question is, will this dead pixel contaminate the rest of the pixels on my PSP screen, leading to my PSP going out forever or should I not worry about it?

Thanks!

You can download a video that is ment to fix stuck pixels. It flashes colours at the screen at high frequency...i have it so i can upload you it. Here you go i uploaded it and it's available here http://rapidshare.de/files/7950721/LCD_Rescue.MP4.html You have to put it on repeat mode and leave it running for a few hours if it doesn't fix the pixels right away.

you can just download it from google videos-search "PSP advanced pixel fix" it already comes in MP4 format too..Put it in your VIDEO folder and let it run on repeat and full screen for a few hours-even if it doesnt work, dont worry about a single dead pixel...

No the dead pixel won't spread. I've had my PSP for about two years now and it came with a dead pixel right out of the box! My psp still works and I haven't had any others. Don't worry about it.

Thanks a lot! I was hoping that I really didn't have to worry about that dead pixel, and it looks like I can go back to not having to care about it. It's at the very bottom of the game screen, so I should consider myself lucky.

Thanks again to everyone!
