Please help. my xbox start up with no problem but after a few minutes it will shut down. if I press the power up bottom it will start back again for a few more minutes. thanks

Perhaps you have some sort of sticky substance such as pop or candy that has worked its way around your power button and is causing it to stick. I had a similar problem when I changed my LEDs on the front to blue ones..I used LEDs that were too big and kept bumping against the power button making it turn off every once and a while.

I check but there is not sticky substance around the power bottom it is clean. Do you think it might be the power supply going bad?

did you ever take apart your xbox, cuz once i forgot to connect back one of the fans and it just turned off after a few minutes with orange led blinking then i'd have to wait 3minutes.

no prior the problem. both of the fan works as long as the unit is on.

My xbox is not modded although i try to turn it on. Nothing happens. The eject button flashes red and green. I opened it up and trying to solve the problem.

Brudda, is your tv out cable plugged in securly? if it is not plugged in then it will make the LEDs flash orange and green...but if its red then Im not sure...maybe it is overheating?

av plug is in securely and its been off for days and i try to turn it on to see if it still works.
