Best Place To Get Lumines (unpatched)

I have a 3.50 PSP and I am really wanting to downrgade it. I'm not really into the whole ebay thing, where you bid and stuff. I'm also in Canada. I was wondering if you guys think that Amazon would be good.. Because I don't want to get the patched version, if there really is one. What do you guys think?

Dude, it's not the big a deal to get Lumines.
My recommendation is not to buy stuff through the internet as long as you can buy them in real stores.
To get Lumines you just gotta take yourself to the nearest computer store which sells pc and consoles games and just get it. And if the store doesn't have the game (probably, because the game is pretty old) just tell them to order it.
Every store can order every game the exist.

For me I went to 4 Blockbusters here in Phoenix, AZ and no one had it, so I asked them to call and non of the other blockbusters had them....So I went to some of the EBgames/ and Game Stop and non of them had them either.
I had more luck finding GTA LCS unpatched than Lumines for some reason. So I bought 3 GTA LCS for $25 bucks...but what the use since I have bought 2 PSP's with firmware 3.40.....sigh
Good luck finding Lumines as I have a BIG FAT ZERO finding one!!

If you really wanted to get Lumines you should buy one now. Buy it off Amazon, buy it off eBay. Just get one. There becoming harder and harder to find and if you wait you'll never get one.

I just downgraded my psp about two weeks ago when I found out that I could go up to 3.50.....Then I found out the tragic news that to downgrade I would need the Lumines game also......Lo and behold three days later my buddy comes over to my house saying would you like a game for your psp?.....Turns out he had been checking online and saw that I would need the game to downgrade......
He found the copy that he bought me in a bargain bin at a Zellers store here in Ontario.....So a good place to look may be in bargain bins at larger department stores like Walmart, Zellers, Target etc.
Gimme Gimme CivII, Diablo, ChronoCross any of the FFantasy's and other cool PS1 games for my PSP!

i was looking on noobz saw the downgrader thought yipeeeee!!!
went out to GAME in uk (dont know if its over in usa) and found lumines randomly £2.99 brand new un- patched i thought oh yeh so i bought 3 of em,
i am willing to sell to u guys but i dunno if we allowed to give email addresses

I just bought Lumines of Amazon for $32.99....another sigh
Thanks for the offering -MUNKYEARS- but I think it would cost more to ship here to the states than buying on line LOL.
But I will keep your offering in consideration.

you can't find it in any stores new, because sony recalled it.
i found mine by luck in Gamecrazy.
hell u could ask some people to be on a lookout, or ask someone at a game store if they have a copy you could use instore or whatever.

Can anyone confirm if the patched ones have reached US yet?
#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe
Whatever happens, happens...

Yeah I'm not sure about "patched" lumines reaching the US, but I just did a quick search on amazon and a bunch of individual vendors are selling it for like 50$, like he said just buy one. I know some of you may think $50 is a lot of money but think of the benefits your going to reap. This coming from a guy who already has a psp with 3.03 OE-C and a unpatched copy of GTA:LCS, I don't even have a reason to buy lumines but I did, because they will run out and then they will go from $50 to some outrageous price like $100-$150, just good to have a copy for safe keeping. Anyways happy brewing!

Heck yeah, that's what I'm talking about...I just wish Sony could just focus on licensing more 3rd party vendors and developing more amazing games for the PS3 and let its little brother alone, in other words not discontinue games like this....oh well, it is the way it is....next thing ya know 6 months from now they will start discontinuing GUN or Eragon cause it will be the newest exploit Hah....

u should also try www.craigslist.com check if they have it somewhere in your local area. the blockbuster said that the company recalled all lumines so the best way is just to pick it up from the seller itself
