I'm still looking for Lumines on retail. I've searched almost every store in my city that carries electronics and I searched almost every renting store and I haven't found a single copy. It's really pissing me off.

If you know someone with firmware 1.5 or a custom firmware PSP use can use the recently released Pandora's Battery hack to downgrade your PSP now without the need for Lumines. The battery downgrader is safer than a regular downgrader as the battery hack also works as a PSP unbricker. All you need is a 1.5/Custom Firmware PSP, a Pro Duo memory stick, and a real Sony PSP battery. And better yet there are no irreversible changes made to either the PSP battery or memorys stick.

why did sony recall lumines? Because everyone was downgrading with it?
Besides it being an essential downgrade tool, its an awesome game if you like puzzle games. I've invested wayyyyy too much time in it.
Soundtrack is badass too.

i just sold my last copy of lumines £96 on ebay i had a total of 12 bids
does the pandora battery let you downgrade? i thought its used to revive bricks not let you dg?

The pandora method while intended for unbricking can be used as a downgrader as it writes a miniturized version of firmware 1.5 to the PSP flash. From this mini 1.5 you can upgrade to custom firmware.

haha before i came to the homebrew scene i loved the game lumines so i went out and bought it for about 3 bucks. then when i found out about downgrading and stuff i looked for my lumines and it was unpatched. i love it so. and i have bought like every copy i find at stored unpatched when i see them. yay. i will sell them if yall want them. just let me know

i just bought mine at ebgames, 32 bucks though but since i bough it used i just took it home and downgraded my psp then i returned it, i was lucky to, i was exactly on the 7th day on the 7 day return period
