I just got a 2.71 PSP . It does NOT have a TA-082 motherboard. What do I have to do to be able to play homebrew/emulators/backups on my PSP?

it's ok we were all noobs at one time or another. you have to use the 2.71 downgrader to downgrade to 1.50, from 1.50 you can play homebrew games, but it is recomended that you instead after you downgrade on 1.50 upgrade to 3.40 OE-A by dark alex, it can play homebrew and iso's as well. BTW downgrading and upgrading can cause a brick, this means your psp will permenantly be broken and cannot acess the main menu, unless a modchip is bought. best of luck, post here if you require further help/qwustions/problems.

3.51 m33 is better, in my opinon i'll stick to 3.40 oe-a though, my quit game page wasn't working on M33.

hey dude, u no those ta-082 guide's for the psp's on 2.71. are they only ocmpatible ta-082 motherboards or does anything work.
