yo hey guys i am really sorry if i post this in the wrong forum but i was wondering that does your computer effects your burning speed. For example if i bought a brand new dvd burner that can burn at a good speed. But since my computer is slow will it effect the burning speed. but bear in mid that when i say slow i don't mean that it stop for hours. Because sometime my computer lags or stop for 1-2 minutes to load up something i click on. i am askin this because i dont want to waste time buyin a new 1000 dallor computer when i can buy a burner to backup my ps2 games. i would really appreciate an answer thx.

since 98% of the time you would be burning a game at 4X speed you should be just fine. You are not going to be using the max speed of the burner anyway. I use to do games on my old Dell which had under 1GB of RAM and a less then stellar processor.

thanks steimy for answering the question. And the specs of my computer is 192 ram and a 3.2 gb hard drive with a windows xp prossesing system
