I have a firmware version 3.11 and I'm trying to upgrade it to version 3.50. But every time I do it comes up as corrupted data. I'm trying to upgrade to downgrade but it won't upgrade. HELP ME IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY!
ok this is what you do, plug ur psp to ur PC via USB and then go to PSP THEN TO GAME and create a new folder named UPDATE and inside that folder put the 3.50 update there and make sure its name EBOOT.PBP and if u still cannot upgrade then i assume your psp has been downgraded before and has a ta-082 motherboard which cannot upgrade past 3.11 when downgraded. tell me how it goes
Well if it has been downgraded, couldnt he just go back to 1.5, then go to 3.51 M33? Hah, maybe he really wants official sony fw, why is beyond me.....
No, hi_every2 is right, if ta-82 is downgraded before, and then upgraded to some non-downgradable firmware (3.10~3.30) you will be stuck. Noobz said he is doing something about that, and nothing had turned up yet.
