I have ps2 with modchip, so I can play backed up games. I saw in the net some games that need a patch like Fifa street 1/2. My questions are-
1) Should I patch those games or I can play them without patch them?
2) About all games that need patch- Is the patch just for play in swap magic, or it used also if you have a modchip?

No, you shouldn't need to apply a patch since you have a modchip, you should be able to just burn the game and play it like an original disc. By the way, which modchip do you have?
I'll be honest with you- the ps is not mine, it's of the son of my cousin- I download games for him, so I don't know which modchip it is.
(I write that the ps is mine to save words).
