hey im using DVD shrink in conjunction with AnyDVD but keep getting an error msg that says:
Failure to read file "E:\"
The volume for a file has been externally altered so that the opened file is no longer valid.
i actually dont have a clue what im doing so if someone could please help me itd be great!

AnyDVD is suppose to work with DVD Shrink, however, you may need to rip the file first with AnyDVD. Right click the little fox head and select the "Rip Video DVD to Harddisk" create a folder for the movie and a VIDEO_TS folder. For example

MovieTitle\VIDEO_TS

Rip it to that folder and then open that folder with DVD Shrink. That should solve the problem. If it still will not open in Shrink then it means that something is wrong with the DVD Structure. That may be corrected by using a number of free programs.
