PSP firmware 1.52 please help

I have been told on another forum to upgrade to firmware 2.0 and then use the custom 2.0 downgrader to go to 1.50 and then I can go straight to the newest OE release. Can someone confirm if this is the best way to do this and also can someone point me in the direction of the real 2.0 firmware and the 2.0 downgrader? I appreciate any help.

Thats the best way, charge PSP conenct it to power supply. DO NOT UNPLUG WHILE UPDATING!!!

put the file in photo folder and on psp go to the photo screen, if there is a black screen with white words its done with one part if it just freezes with a black screen try it agian

install to 1.50

Since OE was not discontinue, the highest firmware is 3.51 M33 which is like OE, which is great, but a bit buggy.
