To update to the 3.52 M33-2 do you need to flash it again just like how we did it with the 3.52 M33? Coz I read the readme file and it only mentioned about the seplugins. So do I update the flash and then put the seplugin and then enable it from the recovery? im just confused. lol.

psplife: Ceramic White 2.71 TA-082> 1.5> 3.03OE-C> installed custom themes> semibricked on the 3rd try> 1.5> 3.30OE-A> 3.10OE-A'> 3.03OE-C> 3.40 OE-A> 3.52 M33 > 3.52 M33 update 4 > 3.71M33 > 3.71M33-3

Cool. So just do the update and that's cool? no need to do the seplugins right?

Is there even any advantages from upgrading from 3.40 oe to 3.52 m33? I really dont see any reason too as theres gonna be bugs and fixes and updates more than likely

Even though the Firmware is 3.52, 3.52 M33-2 sucks. It's actually worse than 3.40OE-A. The entire process of installing CXMB's is different. For some reason, the same CXMB for 3.5x M33 is actually larger in size than for 3.40OE-A. Although iR Shell 3.6 is specifically designed for 3.52 M33-2, it still locks up. I have only played twelve different ".cso" games and 2 of them would not even load. However in 3.40OE-A, all twelve loaded perfectly with no errors. Unless there are some serious stability upgrades in Update #3 for 3.52, M33 is lagging behind in the custom Firmware world. And that's saying something considering Dark_Alex has been "retired" for how long now?

you're coming down on M33 WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too hard, these are their first few custom fw's dark alex did not become perfect over night (or over firmwares). give them time and they will fix out the bugs. sorry to hear aboiut your games but i have about 15 iso/cso's and they all work EXACTLY the same as fw 3.40 OE-A. the only thing i like more about 3.40 OE-A Is that it says 3.40 OE-A in the System Settings (3.40 is my fave fw). and that it was made by dark alex, someone trusted by the worldwide psp homebrew community.

I'm not coming down on M33 too hard?!?! I understand it took many months before Dark_Alex perfected, and yes I mean perfected, 3.40OE-A. However, look at how M33 functions. They are similar to Microsoft in that they jump the gun wayyyyyy too early. They had seven (7)--seeeevvveeenn updates to 3.51 M33. Come on!!! I would rather wait an extra month or two for a fully tested and "overly reviewed source code" before releasing than to offer an unstable and high-risk version and offering many updates. Look at Dark_Alex. 3.40OE-A is so stable and perfect, there is no need for a 3.40OE-B or any revision.

you have a point, but like i said before give it some time... i think they just got excited with those updates and kept on making 'em. I personaly would prefer the fw right away and then wait a while for the PERFECT update becasue eventualy they will reach Dark_AleX level. its been w while since an M33 3.52 update though. i look forward to these things now. and just becasue there was 7 updates for 3.51....doesnt mean its less buggy ( for other ppl reading this)

No offense, but I don't think they will reach Dark_Alex's level for a while ... a loooong while. They clearly haven't perfected reverse-engineering the Firmwares higher than 3.50. And marlino23, you kind of contradicted yourself! You say that you would prefer the Firmware right away (which includes glitches and all), but then you'll wait for updates that raise the stability significantly. What is the point of releasing an unstable Firmware immediately and updating, updating, updating if you claim your willing to wait until it is at a level of stability that rivals Dark_Alex??? What the hell did I just say??? LOL!

I can't believe you guys are being so hard on m33 firmware you want to know why they were in such a rush to release the cfw, do any of you own a ps3? does any other cfw allow you to use the latest sony created features with your ps3? NO!!! so props to m33 for constantly updating these features and patching any found bugs within days!!! so yes if you are a noobie and you are scared of updates and patches then stick with darkalex's cfw it is verry good but if you own a ps3 it is worth the upgrade!!! my only gripe custom themes are a bi**h. Also does any body here even know how to create custom firmware on a machine in which the designer is in constant battle to screw you over with security updates there job is a hard one and i send my thanks to all that have even made an effort to free our psp's!!!!!!!!

if you haven't googled it dont f**king ask me!!!!

Sorry if I'm putting this in the wrong spot, if it is just let me know :) Here's my question, I have a PSP that was updated by "my friend while I was in the shower" to 3.11, lol. After waiting for what seemed like forever, I bought Lumines and sucessfully downgraded to 1.50 thanks to noobz. I would like to upgrade to 3.52 M33, I know this is a dumb question but where do I get "official 3.52 eboot" mentioned in step three of the readme? Also are trades allowed to be mentioned in this forum? I don't want to screw anybody, there's just a particular item I'd like to obtain by swapping my copy of Lumines. Thank's, and I apologize if I've made any mistakes posting this. I'm a total noob :P

If you go to the official PSP website and follow the links to updating your psp using a PC. It will give you a link to the official 3.52 eboot.

And Crazykid3... If you dont like how Team M33 release their FW, then why don't you tell them exactly how to make it perfect??

Oh wait.... You can't?? Because you DON'T KNOW!?

Looks like you will have to get over it and just let them do their job. There IS a forum where you can ask for things to be fixed and they will try... so why don't you try and be constructive and offer them feedback rather than slating their attempts which they don't even charge you for.. yeah!?

The alternative to that is to stay on 3.40 FOREVER while the rest of the world moves on with their lives... your choice.

Please dont use computer language too much because i dont get it.. yeah?
